University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics: Department of Radiology
The Department of Radiology consists of 36 faculty members in Diagnostic Radiology, six faculty members in Nuclear Medicine, five faculty members in Radiation Oncology, three members in Radiology Physics, and four in Radiation Biology. The Department employs 75 radiographers and has 40 radiologic technology students. The departmental complement of house staff totals 28 residents in diagnostic radiology, three in nuclear medicine, and five in therapeutic radiology, making it one of the largest residency programs in the United States.
